There is big news for the youth looking for a government job. A notification has been issued for the vacant post of Conductor in Rajasthan. According to the details given in the notification, the application process for this recruitment will start on March 27 and will be completed by April 25, 2025. Candidates who fulfill the eligibility for the conductor posts will be able to complete the application process by visiting the official website of RSSB rssb.rajasthan.gov.in or the SSO portal within the prescribed dates to join this recruitment.

Eligibility for Conductor Posts

To apply for the conductor posts, the candidate must have passed the secondary examination from a recognized board. Along with this, the candidate must have a valid license and badge of the conductor.

Age Limit

To apply for this recruitment, the candidate must have completed 18 years keeping in view 1 January 2026 and the candidate must not have attained the age of 40 years. Candidates coming from reserved categories will be given relaxation in upper age as per rules. For detailed details related to eligibility and criteria, candidates must once go through the official notification.

Recruitment details
Through this recruitment, RSSB will recruit a total of 454 posts of conductors. Out of this, 155 posts are reserved for the general category, 80 posts for Scheduled Caste, 54 posts for Scheduled Tribe, 95 posts for Other Backward Classes, 22 posts for Extremely Backward Classes, 45 posts for Economically Weaker Sections, and 3 posts are reserved for Saharia Primitive Tribe of Baran district.

How will the selection be done?
To be selected for this recruitment, candidates will have to go through a written examination. The scheme for the written examination is as follows-

The written examination will be based on multiple-choice (objective) questions.

A total of 100 questions will be asked in the question paper. Each question will be of 01 mark.

The written examination will be of a total of 100 marks.

The duration of the written examination will be 02 hours i.e. 120 minutes.

All questions are compulsory.

There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.
