Eligibility for Railway Apprentice
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 10th grade or senior secondary examination from a recognized board. Additionally, they must possess an ITI diploma or certificate in a relevant trade from the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) or State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT). Please note that candidates who are still awaiting the release of their 10th-grade results or IIT results are not eligible to apply.
Age Limit: Eligible applicants must be at least 15 years old and a maximum of 24 years old. Reserved category candidates will receive a three- to 10-year age relaxation. More information regarding educational qualifications and age limits can be found in the notification.

Application Fee
General and OBC category candidates will have to pay a fee of ₹100 to fill out the Railway Apprentice Recruitment form. SC, ST, differently-abled, and female candidates will not have to pay any fee.
No Exam
According to the notification issued by RRC NR, eligible applicants for apprentice positions will be selected based on their 10th-grade marks and ITI qualification. Applicants will not have to appear for any exam.
