What are the qualifications required for a Railway Apprenticeship?
This direct recruitment for apprenticeship is open in trades such as fitter, turner, electrician, welder, mechanic, machinist, painter, AC mechanic, cable jointer/crane operator, carpenter, and lineman. Candidates who have passed the 10th grade (10+2) system from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks and have also completed an ITI certificate are eligible to apply.
Candidates must be at least 15 years old and not have completed the maximum age of 24 years, along with the educational qualification. The age limit will be calculated as of January 1, 2026. Reserved category candidates will receive age relaxation as per the rules.
How to fill out the form?
To fill out the Railway Apprentice registration form, first visit the official website www.rrcser.co.in.

Enter your name, email ID, and mobile number. After submitting the OTP, a registration number will be generated.
Register again on the website using this OTP.
Now scan and upload a JPG/JPEG photo that is no more than 3 months old.
Upload your signature in the same manner.
Finally, after paying the application fee, print out the final submitted form and keep it safe.
Application Fee
An application fee of ₹100 will be charged, which is completely non-refundable. Candidates belonging to the SC/ST category will not have to pay any application fee. These candidates can fill out the form for free.
