Recruitment is underway to fill 368 vacant Section Controller positions in the Railways. The last date to apply is today, October 14, 2025. Graduates seeking government jobs in the Railways can complete the application process without delay by visiting the RRB portal, rrbapply.gov.in. Candidates filling the form will be able to submit the application fee until October 16, 2025.
Graduate Candidates Eligible to Participate in the Recruitment
To apply for Railway Section Controller positions, a candidate must be a graduate from a recognized university/institute in any stream.
Age Limit
To participate in this recruitment, the minimum age of a candidate must be no less than 20 years and no more than 33 years. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be given to the reserved categories as per the rules. Please note that age will be calculated as of January 1, 2026.

To fill out the RRB Section Controller application form, first visit the portal rrbapply.gov.in.

After this, complete the form by entering other details through login.
Finally, submit the form by paying the category-wise prescribed fee.
Application Fee
Candidates are required to pay the category-wise prescribed fee along with filling out the application form. Your form will not be accepted without the fee. Candidates from the Unreserved, OBC, and EWS categories will have to pay ₹500 as a fee, while SC, ST, PH, and female candidates from all categories will have to pay ₹250.
After the completion of the Stage 1 exam, Rs 400 will be refunded to the unreserved, OBC, and EWS category candidates, and the entire fee will be refunded to SC, ST, PH, and female candidates of all categories.
