There's great news for young people dreaming of a job in the Railways. The South Eastern Railway, Kolkata, has announced a recruitment drive to fill 1,785 vacant apprenticeship positions. According to the notification, the application process for this recruitment will begin tomorrow, November 18th, and will continue until the deadline of December 17, 2025.

10th-ITI Passed Youth Eligible to Apply
To participate in this recruitment drive, candidates must have passed the 10th standard (under the 10+2 system) from a recognized board/institute and have an ITI certificate in the relevant trade/field. The minimum age of a candidate must be no less than 15 years and no more than 24 years. Candidates from reserved categories will be given age relaxation as per the rules. Age will be calculated as of January 1, 2026.

Application Fee
To participate in this recruitment, candidates from all other categories will need to pay a fee of ₹100. The fee can be paid online. Candidates from SC, ST, PWD, and women categories can fill out the application form for free.
