There is good news for the youth dreaming of getting a government job in Railways. The online application process was started on 28th June by issuing notification for RRB Technician Grade 1 and 3 Recruitment (RRB Technician Recruitment 2025) by the Railway Recruitment Board. Candidates who fulfill the eligibility for this recruitment can fill out the form to join the recruitment by visiting the official website rrbapply.gov.in or by clicking on the direct link given on this page. Before filling out the form, candidates must check the eligibility and criteria.

Eligibility and Criteria

Eligibility for Grade 1 posts: To apply for RRB Technician Grade 1 posts, the candidate must have passed BSc / BTech / BE / 3-year Polytechnic Diploma, etc. in the relevant field. Along with this, the minimum age of the candidate should not be more than 18 years and the maximum age should not be more than 33 years.

Eligibility for Grade 3 posts: To apply for Railway Technician Grade 3 posts, the candidate should have passed 10th from a recognized board along with ITI. The minimum age for Grade 3 posts has been fixed at 18 years and the maximum age at 30 years.

Candidates coming from reserved categories will be given relaxation in upper age. Keep in mind that the age will be calculated keeping in mind 1st July 2025. For detailed details of eligibility, take a look at the official notification once.

How to apply

To fill out the RRB Technician Online Form 2025, you have to visit the official portal rrbapply.gov.in.

After clicking on the Apply button here, click on Create an Account and register by filling in the required details.

After this, click on Already Have an Account and fill in other details to complete the form.

Finally, submit the form by paying the prescribed fee take a printout of it, and keep it safe.

Application fee

Along with filling out the application form, candidates coming from unreserved, OBC, and EWS categories will have to deposit Rs 500 as a fee. The application fee for SC / ST / female candidates of all categories has been fixed at Rs 250.

Recruitment Details
Through this recruitment, the Railways will make appointments on 6238 vacant posts according to various railway zones. Out of this, 6055 posts are reserved for Technician Grade III, and 183 posts are reserved for Technician Grade I.
