Applicants must have passed the 10th-grade examination (or an equivalent examination) under the prevailing education system with a minimum aggregate score of 50%. Additionally, it is mandatory for candidates to have completed an ITI course in the relevant trade from a recognized institution.

The minimum age limit for candidates is set at 15 years, and the maximum age limit is 24 years; age will be calculated based on the closing date for applications. Furthermore, candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted relaxation in the upper age limit in accordance with applicable rules.
