Railway Jobs: Over 8,000 positions will be filled in the Railways, with 12th-grade pass candidates and graduates eligible to apply.

The Railways have announced a significant recruitment drive. More than 8,000 positions will soon be filled, and candidates can apply.

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released a short notification for the NTPC Recruitment 2025-26. This year, a total of 8,875 positions will be filled. These positions include Station Masters, Goods Guards, Commercial Clerks, Accounts Clerks, Junior Typists, Trains Clerks, Senior Clerks cum Typists, Traffic Assistants, and many others.

In this recruitment drive, 5,817 positions are reserved for graduates and 3,058 for 12th-grade pass candidates. The application process is expected to begin between October and November 2025.

From 12th-grade pass candidates to graduates, candidates can apply for this recruitment drive. Eligible and interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of their regional RRB.

The minimum age for undergraduate positions is 18 years, and the maximum age is 30 years. The maximum age for graduate-level positions is 33 years. Age relaxation will be provided to reserved categories such as SC, ST, OBC, PwD, and ex-servicemen as per government regulations.

Selected candidates will receive a salary as per the Seventh Pay Commission (7th CPC). The selection process for RRB NTPC recruitment will be multi-stage. First, there will be a Computer-Based Test (CBT-1 and CBT-2). This will be followed by a skill test, typing test, or aptitude test depending on the post. The final stage will be document verification and a medical fitness test.

The application fee is ₹500 for General, OBC, and EWS category candidates. SC, ST, PwD, women, and ex-servicemen candidates will have to pay only ₹250.

Candidates must visit their regional RRB portal and click on the NTPC 2025 application link. After registration, fill in the application form, upload your photograph and signature, pay the required fee, and submit the form.
