Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) has released the advertisement for recruitment under sports quota in South Central Railway (SCR). The application process has started from 4 January 2025 and candidates can apply till 3 February 2025.

This recruitment will be done on Group C posts, in which different vacancies have been fixed for female and male players in various sports like athletics, shuttle badminton, basketball, cycling, kabaddi etc. Interested candidates can check the details by visiting the official website scr.indianrailways.gov.in.

Candidates applying for Grade Pay 1800 must be 10th pass or ITI (equivalent qualification). At the same time, candidates with grade pay 1900-2000 must be 12th pass. The candidate must have participated in any recognized international championship/events (category A, B, C).

The minimum age of the candidates applying is 18 years. While the maximum age has been fixed at 25 years. This recruitment campaign is being run for recruitment to a total of 21 posts.

Candidates will have to pay application fee for the campaign. The fee for general category is Rs 500. While the fee for SC/ST/Women/Minority/Economically Weaker Section has been kept at Rs 250.

Candidates will be selected for these posts on the basis of shortlisting, document verification and sports performance trials.
