The Railway Recruitment Board will recruit a total of 312 vacant posts under the Isolated Category. The highest number of posts, 202, is for Junior Hindi Translators. In addition, there are 22 posts for Chief Law Assistant, 7 for Public Prosecution, 15 for Senior Public Inspector, and 24 for Staff and Welfare Inspector. In the technical and scientific category, there are 2 posts for Scientific Assistant Training, 39 posts for Lab Assistant Grade-3 (Chemist and Metallurgist), and 1 post for Scientific Supervisor.
Eligibility
The educational qualifications for different posts in this RRB recruitment vary. For the Junior Hindi Translator post, candidates must have a graduation degree in the relevant subject. For positions like Chief Law Assistant and Public Prosecution, candidates must have a law degree from a recognized university. For Scientific Assistant, Lab Assistant, and other technical positions, candidates are required to have a degree or diploma in science.
Age Limit
The minimum age for candidates in this recruitment is 18 years. The maximum age limit varies depending on the post, generally ranging from 30 to 40 years. Candidates belonging to reserved categories such as SC, ST, OBC, and other eligible categories will also be given age relaxation as per government rules.
Salary Details
Candidates selected in this Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) recruitment will receive an attractive salary according to their post. Most positions will offer a salary of ₹35,400 per month, while candidates selected for higher posts like Chief Law Assistant will receive a salary of up to ₹44,900 per month. In addition, railway employees will also be provided with dearness allowance, house rent allowance, travel allowance, and other benefits as per Central Government rules, which further enhances the total monthly income.
Application Fee
The application fee for General, OBC, and EWS category candidates is ₹500, while SC and ST category candidates have to pay ₹250 as the application fee. This fee can be paid online through debit card, credit card, or net banking. The railways will also provide a fee refund to candidates; General, OBC, and EWS category candidates who appear for the CBT-1 exam will receive a refund of ₹400, while SC and ST category candidates will receive a full refund of ₹250.
