Railway Jobs 2025: Recruitment for more than 400 posts in Railways, the last date to apply is very close

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has started the process of recruitment for a total of 434 posts in the Paramedical category. Interested candidates can apply online on the official website till 8 September 2025.

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has taken out a big recruitment under the Paramedical category. This time, recruitment will be done for a total of 434 posts. Interested and eligible candidates can apply till 8 September 2025. Applications will be accepted only through online mode and for this the candidates will have to login on the official website rrbapply.gov.in. Aadhar number and OTP will be required to login.

Out of the total 434 posts released by the Railways, the highest recruitment is being done for Nursing Superintendent. There are 272 vacancies for this post and their starting salary has been fixed at Rs 44,900. There are 105 posts for Pharmacist (Entry Grade), on which the starting salary will be Rs 29,200. 33 posts of Health and Malaria Inspector have been released and the starting salary for these has also been fixed at Rs 35,400. Some posts will also be recruited in small numbers, such as - 4 posts of Dialysis Technician, 4 posts of Radiographer (X-Ray Technician) and 4 posts of ECG Technician. Their starting salary will be between Rs 25,500 and Rs 35,400.

Who can apply?

The minimum age limit for applying to these posts has been kept different according to the post. For some posts, the minimum age has been fixed at 18 years, while for some it is 19 or 20 years. Similarly, the maximum age limit also varies according to the post. Somewhere it is 33 years, somewhere it is 35 years or up to 40 years. Complete information about educational qualification and age limit is given in the official notification issued by the railways. Candidates must read it before applying so that there is no mistake.

How will the selection be done?

Candidates will be selected in three stages. First there will be a Computer Based Test (CBT). After this, eligible candidates will be called for document verification and finally there will be a medical test. 1 mark will be given for each correct answer in the CBT exam, while one-third marks will be deducted for giving the wrong answer. Therefore, it is important for the candidates to keep in mind the negative marking while preparing.

How to apply

First of all go to the official website of Railway Recruitment Board indianrailways.gov.in.

From here choose the RRB of your area (like RRB Mumbai, RRB Allahabad etc.).

Find the notification of Paramedical Recruitment 2025 under the "CEN No..." section.

Click on "Apply Online" or "New Registration".

Register a new registration by entering your name, mobile number and email ID.

After completing the registration, login with the login details provided and fill the application form.

Upload the required documents like passport size photo, signature and certificate in the prescribed size and format.

Pay the application fee online as per the category.

Check all the information carefully and click on "Final Submit".

Take a printout of the application form and keep it safe with you.
