Indian Railways has announced recruitment for thousands of apprentice posts, for which the application process will start from 23 September. Candidates who are interested in working in the railways can apply online by visiting the official website of RRC WR, rrc-wr.com. The last date is 22 October.

If you are preparing for a government job and especially for railways, then there is good news for you. Railway Recruitment Cell has released vacancies for thousands of apprentice posts in Western Railways, for which the application process will start soon. Candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of RRC WR, rrc-wr.com. A total of 5066 posts will be filled in the railways through this recruitment drive. The registration process will start from September 23 and will close on October 22, 2024.
Railway Jobs 2024: What are the eligibility criteria?
Candidates willing to apply for these posts in Railways should have passed 10th with minimum 50% marks from a recognized board. The age of the candidates applying should be 15 years and should not be more than 24 years by 22/10/2024. Candidates whose SSC/ITI results have not come till the date of notification cannot apply. Apart from this, ITI certificate affiliated to NCVT/SCVT is mandatory for the candidate.
RRC WR Apprentice Recruitment 2024: What is the selection process?
The selection of candidates will be done on the basis of merit list i.e. the average of the percentage of marks obtained by the applicants in both Matriculation (with minimum 50% (aggregate) marks) and ITI examination, giving equal weightage to both. The final selection of the candidates will be based on the verification of original certificates and medical fitness certificate.

Railway Recruitment 2024: What is the application fee?
For the post of Railway Apprentice, candidates have been asked to pay an application fee of Rs 100, which will not be refunded later. At the same time, no application fee has been asked from SC/ST/PWD/Female candidates. The fee can be paid through debit card, credit card, internet banking etc.
