Punjab PTI Vacancy: There is good news for young people aspiring to build a career in the fields of physical education and sports. The Punjab School Education Department has announced a major recruitment drive for 2,000 Physical Training Instructor (PTI) posts within the primary cadre. These PTIs will be recruited for government schools across the state.

A key highlight of this recruitment drive is that 650 of the total 2,000 vacancies are reserved for female candidates. This presents a significant opportunity for female athletes and young women holding degrees in physical education in the state.

**Salary Details**
Candidates selected as Physical Training Instructors will receive a fixed monthly salary of ₹29,200 without any additional allowances during the three-year probation period. Upon successful completion of the probation period, the applicable salary and allowances will come into effect.

**Eligibility Criteria**
To apply for this recruitment, candidates must have passed Class 12 from a recognized school. Additionally, candidates must possess a CPEd, DPEd, or BPEd qualification.
Regarding the age limit, candidates must be between 18 and 37 years of age as of January 1, 2026. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted a five-year age relaxation.

**Selection Process**
Candidate selection will be based on a merit list prepared out of a total of 100 marks. The written examination will consist of an objective-type test worth 70 marks. Another 30 marks will be awarded based on sports gradation. Furthermore, a qualifying test in the Punjabi language and a physical efficiency test will also be conducted.
