Punjab Police Constable Recruitment 2025: This is a golden opportunity for the youth looking for a government job in Punjab Police. Punjab Police has released recruitment for 1746 constable posts. The application process for this recruitment has started from 21 February 2025 (7 pm) and interested candidates can apply till 13 March 2025 at 11.55 pm. To apply, one has to visit the official website punjabpolice.gov.in.

There are a total of 1746 posts in this recruitment, out of which 1261 posts are of District Police Cadre and 485 posts are of Armed Police Cadre.

Qualification

For educational qualification, candidates must have a 12th (10+2) or equivalent educational qualification from a recognized board. At the same time, the minimum educational qualification for ex-servicemen has been fixed as a Matriculation (10th) pass.

The minimum age limit for the candidates has been fixed at 18 years and the maximum age limit at 28 years, which the age will be calculated from 1 January 2025. Candidates of reserved category will be given relaxation in age limit as per rules.

According to the physical standards, the minimum height of male candidates should be 5 feet 7 inches (170.2 cm), and the minimum height of female candidates should be 5 feet 2 inches (157.5 cm).

Application fee

The application fee for general category applicants is Rs 1200, Rs 500 for ex-servicemen of Punjab, and Rs 700 for SC, ST, Backward Class, and EWS.

Selection Process-Salary

Candidates will be selected through Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PST), and Physical Measurement Test (PMT). Computer Based Test of candidates will be taken for the post of constable. The first paper will be 100 marks and the second will be of 50 marks. The minimum salary of the candidates selected for the post of Punjab Police Constable will be Rs 19,900/- per month.
