There is good news for the youth of Punjab. Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has released notifications for Punjab State Civil Services Combined Competitive Examination-2025. Candidates who want to apply for the exam can get a direct link by visiting the official website of PPSC ppsc.gov.in. Registration for this recruitment has started today i.e. January 3. Remember that candidates can register for this recruitment only till 31 January 2025 as 31 January is the last date to apply for this recruitment. Qualification
To participate in this recruitment, the candidate must have a graduation degree in any subject from a recognized university or institute. Also, candidates pursuing graduation can also participate, provided the candidate is allowed to take the preliminary examination while studying for the qualifying degree. However, to appear for the Mains exam, the candidate must pass graduation and produce proof of degree.
Age Limit
To apply for the exam, the age of the candidate should be 21 years as on 1st January 2025 but should not be more than 37 years.
Selection Process
The selection process of this recruitment consists of a Preliminary Exam and Mains (Written and Interview). The Pre Exam will have two papers of 200 marks and objective type (multiple choice) questions.
The Preliminary Combined Competitive Examination-2025 is tentatively scheduled for April 2025. The exact date of the preliminary examination will be announced later.
Application Fee
The application fee for Ex-Servicemen of Punjab State, Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Persons with Disabilities (PWD) and Descendants of Ex-Servicemen (LDESM) is only ₹500/-. SC/ST of all states and OBC of Punjab state only have to pay ₹750/- as application fee and other categories have to pay ₹1500/-.
