PRL Recruitment 2026: The Physical Research Laboratory (PRL) has invited applications for recruitment to various officer-level posts. **Who can apply?**
Educational qualifications and experience requirements vary for each post.
**Administrative Officer:** MBA (HR) or a Postgraduate/Graduate degree with experience in administrative work.
**Accounts Officer:** CA, ICWA, MBA (Finance), M.Com, or B.Com/BBA with experience in finance and accounts.
**Purchase & Stores Officer:** MBA (Marketing/Materials Management), relevant PG Diploma, or Postgraduate/Graduate degree with experience in purchase and stores operations.
For most educational qualifications, a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent CGPA is required. The required experience must have been gained after obtaining the relevant degree.
**Age Limit**
The age limit is calculated as of August 24, 2026, as follows:
General Category: 35 years
OBC: 38 years
SC: 40 years
Age relaxation will be provided to reserved categories, differently-abled candidates, ex-servicemen, and government employees in accordance with Central Government rules.
**What is the salary?**
Selected candidates will be appointed at Level-10 of the 7th Pay Commission.
Pay Scale: ₹56,100 to ₹1,77,500 per month.
In addition, benefits such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA), National Pension System (NPS), health facilities, LTC, canteen facilities, and other government perks will be provided.
How will the selection take place?
The recruitment process will be conducted in two stages:
Written Examination
Interview
Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for an interview in a ratio of approximately 1:5. The final merit list will be based on:
Written Examination: 60% weightage
Interview: 40% weightage
To be finally selected, candidates must secure the minimum prescribed marks in both the written examination and the interview.
