Prasar Bharati Vacancy 2026: Recruitment is open at Prasar Bharati, India's public service broadcaster. What are the required qualifications?

Terms and Conditions of Appointment

The appointed person will have to work full-time and cannot hold any other job during the contract period.
Contractual employees may be assigned other duties in addition to their primary responsibilities.

The initial appointment period will be two years, subject to annual evaluation. It may be extended based on performance and organizational needs.
The appointment can be terminated by either party with one month's notice or one month's salary instead of notice.

There will be no claim for pension due to this employment.
Prasar Bharati reserves the right to conduct a selection process (examination/interview), and no travel allowance or other expenses will be provided during this process. The remuneration of the selected candidate will be decided at the discretion of Prasar Bharati based on previous salary, experience, and qualifications.

How much will the salary be?
The salary for this position varies depending on the city. Selected candidates in Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Kolkata will receive ₹35,000 to ₹50,000 per month (negotiable), while for other cities, the amount will be ₹35,000 to ₹42,000 per month.
