Power Grid Recruitment 2025: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, under the Ministry of Power, Government of India, has invited applications for 1,160 apprentice positions in Northern Region-II. The apprenticeship period is one year. Apprenticeship trades include Graduate (Electrical), Graduate (Civil), Diploma (Electrical), Diploma (Civil), ITI (Electrician), HR Executive, Official Language, and Executive Law, among others.

Required Qualifications

For ITI apprenticeships, those with a full-time ITI degree in the relevant trade can apply. For Diploma Apprenticeships, those with a three-year full-time diploma in the relevant trade are eligible. For other positions, find details of the eligibility criteria in the notification.

Age Limit

Candidates must be 18 years of age or older at the time of application. See the notification for details on age relaxations for reserved category candidates.

Selection Process

A merit list will be prepared based on the eligibility criteria. Candidates will be shortlisted in order of merit after accepting the tripartite apprenticeship contract on the NATS/NAPS website, submitting a medical certificate in the prescribed format, and undergoing police verification.

Stipend

A Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) amount of ₹4,000 for diploma apprentices and ₹4,500 for graduate apprentices will be provided by the Government of India under the NATS scheme.
