Eligibility and Criteria
To apply for Gujarat Police Constable positions, candidates must have passed 12th grade (HSC) from a recognized board and be at least 18 years old and not older than 35 years. For SI positions, a graduate degree is required. The minimum age for SI applicants is 21 years and the maximum age is 35 years. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per government rules.

A total of 13,591 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment. Of these, 12,733 positions will be filled under the Lokrakshak (Constable) cadre. This includes 6,942 positions for Unarmed Police Constables, 2,458 for Armed Police Constables, 3,002 for SRPF Constables, and 331 for Jail Constables. A total of 858 vacancies are available in the Sub-Inspector (PSI) cadre, including positions for Unarmed and Armed PSIs (Group-2).
