Assam Police Constable Recruitment 2025: There is good news for young people preparing to join the police force. The Assam Police has released a notification for the recruitment of 1715 vacant posts of Constable. Applications will be accepted until January 16, 2026. According to the notification issued by the State Level Police Recruitment Board, Assam (SLPRB Assam), recruitment will be done for the posts of Constable (UB) and Constable (AB).
According to the notification, candidates who have passed 12th standard can apply for Constable (UB) and those who have passed 10th standard can apply for Constable (AB). The online application process will start from December 16, 2025, on the official website http://www.slprbassam.in.
Eligibility for Police Constable Recruitment
Age Limit: Candidates should be between 18 and 25 years of age. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories as per rules.
Educational Qualification: For Constable Un-Armed Branch, candidates must have passed the 12th standard. While for the Armed Branch, the qualification is 10th pass.
