Police Jobs 2025: Application process begins for constable recruitment in Bihar, thousands of positions to be filled

Age Limit

For the Prohibition and Mobile Squad Constable position, the maximum age limit is 25 years for general males, 27 years for OBC/EBC males, 28 years for OBC/EBC females, and 30 years for SC/ST males and females. For the Jail Warder position, the maximum age limit is 23 years for general males, 25 years for OBC/EBC males, 26 years for OBC/EBC females, and 28 years for SC/ST males and females.

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected in three stages. First, there will be a written examination, which will include questions on general knowledge, reasoning, arithmetic, and language. This will be followed by a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), which will assess the candidate's fitness. The final stage will be a Physical Measurement Test (PST), which will measure height, weight, and chest.

Candidates will have to pay an application fee for this recruitment. Candidates must submit a deposit of ₹100.

Required Documents

Candidates will need their 10th and 12th grade certificates, caste certificate (if applicable), identity card, passport-size photo, and other required documents during the application process.
