Police Jobs 2024: Bumper posts of Sub Inspector will be filled in this state, know when the application process will start

JK Police SI Jobs 2024: Jammu and Kashmir Staff Selection Board (JKSSB) has released the official notification for the recruitment of 669 Sub Inspector (SI) posts in Jammu and Kashmir Police for 2024. Interested candidates can apply from 3 December 2024. The last date of application is 2 January 2025. The application process can be completed on the official website of JKSSB, jkssb.nic.in.

JK Police SI Jobs 2024: Required Educational Qualification

The candidate must be a graduate (Bachelor's degree) from a recognized university. Candidates should be residents of Jammu and Kashmir and this certificate should be issued before 2 January 2025. Candidates can check the physical criteria in the notification.

JK Police SI Jobs 2024: Age Limit

The minimum age for general candidates is 18 years and maximum 28 years. The age limit for employees working in service is 18 to 30 years. Age will be calculated on the basis of 1 January 2024.

JK Police SI Jobs 2024: Selection Process and Exam Pattern

The selection process will have three stages. Which includes written test, physical standard test (PST) and physical endurance test (PET). The written test will have objective type (MCQ) questions, which will be in English language only. There will be negative marking for wrong answers, in which ¼ of the total marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

JK Police SI Jobs 2024: There is also a provision for special bonus marks

NCC 'C' certificate holders will get a bonus of 5% in the total marks.

NCC 'B' certificate holders will be given 3% and NCC 'A' certificate holders will be given 2% as bonus marks.
