There is big news for the youth looking for a government job. Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has released recruitment for 1543 vacant posts of Field Engineer and Field Supervisor. The online application process for this recruitment has been started from 27th August. Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria for this recruitment can apply online by visiting the official website of PGCIL powergrid.in or from the direct link given on this page. The last date for filling the form has been fixed as 17th September 2025.

Eligibility and Criteria
To participate in this recruitment, the candidate must have done a BE/BTech/BSc (Engineering)/or equivalent degree/full-time diploma in the relevant field, etc., from a recognized college/institute. Keep in mind that the candidate must have passed the examination with a minimum of 55% marks. Along with this, keeping in mind the last date of application, 17 September 2025, the maximum age of the candidate should not be more than 29 years. However, youth coming from the reserved category will be given age relaxation as per the rules.
Application Process
To join this recruitment, the application process has to be completed only by visiting the official website www.powergrid.in through online mode. Along with filling the form, you will have to pay Rs 400 for applying for field engineer posts and Rs 300 for applying for field supervisor posts. Candidates from the SC, ST, PWD, and ExSM categories can fill out the form for free.
How will the selection be done in the recruitment process?
The candidates applying will have to appear in the written examination to get selected. Multiple-choice type questions will be asked in the written test. 50 questions will be asked from technical knowledge in the paper. Apart from this, 25 questions will be asked in the aptitude test. Under the aptitude test, questions will be asked from General English, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness topics.
