PGCIL Vacancy 2025: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has announced the recruitment of Field Engineer and Field Supervisor posts. A total of 1,543 posts will be filled through this recruitment. The application process has started today. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online by visiting the official website powergrid.in till September 17, 2025, 11:59 pm.

According to the notification, a total of 1,543 posts will be filled under this recruitment drive, including 532 posts for Field Engineer (Electrical), 198 posts for Field Engineer (Civil), 535 posts for Field Supervisor (Electrical), 193 posts for Field Supervisor (Civil), and 85 posts for Field Supervisor (Electronics and Communication).

Who can apply?

Field Engineer (Civil): BE/B.Tech/B. A Sc in Civil and minimum of 55% marks are required. This post requires 1 year of experience in design, construction, testing, and commissioning in rural electrification, distribution/sub-transmission, transmission line, and substation. Experience in PSU or a listed company is preferred.

Field Supervisor (Electrical): This post requires a Diploma in Electrical or equivalent subject and 55% marks. Higher degrees like BE/B.Tech/M. Tech is not accepted. Experience should be 1 year of construction, testing, and commissioning in rural electrification, distribution/sub-transmission, transmission line, and substation. PSU experience is preferred.

Field Supervisor (Civil): Diploma in Civil, and 55% marks are required. Higher degrees are not allowed. Experience should be 1 year of construction, testing, and commissioning in rural electrification, distribution/sub-transmission, transmission line, and substation. Experience in PSU or a listed company is preferred.

Field Supervisor (Electronics and Communication): Electronics, Electrical, IT, or equivalent Diploma, and 55% marks are required for this post. Higher degree (BE/B.Tech/M.Tech) is not accepted. This much will be the application fee.
The information about the application fee is as follows. The application fee for the post of Field Engineer is Rs 400, while for the post of Field Supervisor, it has been fixed at Rs 300. SC, ST, PwBD and XSM category candidates are completely exempted from paying the application fee.
