PFRDA Recruitment 2026: Recruitment announced for Assistant Manager posts; what is the application deadline?

What is the eligibility for application?
General: Must hold a Master's degree or PG Diploma (minimum 2-year duration) in any discipline. Additionally, candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Law or Engineering, or qualifications such as CA, CS, CMA, or CFA, are also eligible to apply.
Research: Must hold a Master's degree or PG Diploma (minimum 2-year duration) in subjects such as Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, Econometrics, Quantitative Economics, Finance, Quantitative Finance, International Finance, Statistics, Data Science, AI, ML, or Big Data Analytics. Candidates holding a Master's degree in Mathematics along with a 1-year PG Diploma in Statistics or a related subject are also eligible.
Actuarial: Must hold a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university or institute. Additionally, candidates must have passed or obtained exemptions in all 7 'Core Principles' subjects of the Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI) examination.
Official Language: Must hold a Master's degree in Hindi or Hindi Translation and have studied English as a subject at the Bachelor's level. Candidates holding a Master's degree in Sanskrit, English, Economics, or Commerce, with Hindi studied at the Bachelor's level, may also apply. Candidates holding Master's degrees in both Hindi/Hindi Translation and English are also eligible.
What is the application fee?
For PFRDA Recruitment 2026, candidates belonging to the General, EWS, and OBC categories are required to pay an application fee of ₹1,000 (inclusive of GST). Conversely, no application fee will be charged to candidates belonging to the SC, ST, PwD (Persons with Disabilities), and Ex-Servicemen categories.
**Salary Details**
Candidates selected for the PFRDA Grade A post will receive a pay scale ranging from ₹62,500 to ₹1,26,100. This pay scale includes periodic increments and progresses according to defined stages over a period of 17 years.
**Three-Stage Selection Process**
The Phase I online examination is scheduled for October 15, 2026. It will consist of Paper 1 (common to all streams) and Paper 2 (specific to the respective stream). Both papers will carry a negative marking of 1/4 mark for incorrect answers. Marks obtained in this phase will not be counted towards the final selection.
The Phase II online examination is scheduled for November 20, 2026. It will comprise a descriptive English paper and a paper specific to the respective stream. The second paper will carry a negative marking of 1/4 mark for incorrect answers. The first paper will be evaluated only for candidates who secure the minimum qualifying marks in the second paper.
Candidates numbering five times the total vacancies will be shortlisted for the third phase.
Only candidates who qualify in the second phase will be called for the interview. The interview may be conducted in Hindi or English. Final selection will be based on the marks obtained in the second and third phases, with a weightage of 85% assigned to the second phase and 15% to the interview.
