Patna High Court recruitment: Patna High Court has invited applications from youth for 111 posts of Stenographer (Group-C). These posts include 68 regular and 43 backlog posts.

Essential qualification

Youth having intermediate qualification and English shorthand and English typing certificate from recognized board/university can apply for these posts. The candidate should have a minimum six-month Diploma/Certificate in Computer Application Course. Also, the speed of English shorthand should be minimum 80 words per minute and English typing speed should be minimum 40 words per minute.

Age limit

The age of the candidate applying for the post of Stenographer should be between 18 to 37 years. Reserved category and female candidates will be given relaxation in the maximum age limit as per rules.

Pay scale

The selected candidates will be given Rs 25,500 to Rs 81,100 per month as per pay level 4. See the notification for more information.

Selection process

Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test and interview. The written test will have three parts - Part-A, Part-B and Part-C. Part-A will be of English shorthand computer typing test. MCQ based objective type questions will be asked in Part-B. At the same time, Part-C will be of English typing test. To know in detail about the exam pattern and syllabus, see the notification.

Application fee: General, Economically Weaker Section, Backward Class, Extremely Backward Class candidates will have to pay Rs 1100 as application fee and Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe category candidates will have to pay Rs 550.
