According to an official letter issued on October 22, 2026, by the Inspector General of Police (Personnel), Sunil Kumar Meena, direct recruitment will be conducted for 198 vacant positions.

Sub-Inspector (Intelligence - Male/Female): 19 posts
Platoon Commander (Male - PAC/IRB/SDRF): 81 posts

To ensure the timely completion of the recruitment process, the Uttarakhand Police Headquarters has forwarded the requisition to the Secretary of the Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC), Raipur, Dehradun.
