Major news has emerged for thousands of young aspirants in Delhi who are preparing for government jobs. If you have applied for recruitment drives at the Delhi High Court, for positions such as Court Attendant, Assistant Superintendent, Forest Guard, or within the Directorate of Education or other departments, your wait is finally coming to an end. The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has released the complete schedule for examinations to be conducted from June through September 2026. Consequently, candidates can now channel their preparation efforts in the right direction.
This time, examinations for a large number of positions across various departments will be conducted. These include recruitment drives ranging from the Delhi High Court to the Prisons Department, Forest Department, Education Department, Delhi Jal Board, Transport Department, and the Municipal Corporation. Along with the examination dates, the Commission has also released details regarding the advertisement number, post code, and respective departments to ensure that candidates do not face any inconvenience.
The Examination Phase Begins in June
The series of DSSSB examinations is set to commence in the month of June. From June 1 to June 30, 2026, examinations will be held for various positions within the Delhi High Court. These include posts such as Court Attendant, Security Attendant, Room Attendant, and others. Candidates who have been awaiting these recruitment drives for a long time have now begun the process of giving final touches to their preparation.
July: The Busiest Month for Exams
The month of July is expected to be the busiest for candidates. Several major examinations are scheduled to take place during this month. Exams have been scheduled for positions such as Assistant Superintendent, Junior Engineer, Motor Vehicle Inspector, Translator, and Technical Supervisor.
Multiple examinations for the recruitment of Assistant Superintendents within the Delhi Prisons Department will be conducted on different dates. Additionally, the examination for the post of Forest Guard within the Department of Forests and Wildlife will also be held in July. A large number of young aspirants had been eagerly awaiting this particular recruitment drive. Additionally, examinations for posts such as Section Officer, Assistant Accounts Officer, Programmer, and PGT have also been scheduled for July. This is considered a significant opportunity for candidates aspiring to secure a job within the Education Department.
Extended Schedule for MTS Recruitment
The recruitment examination for Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) is set to commence in late July and will continue through August and September. This recruitment drive will cover various departments and is expected to attract the highest number of candidates. MTS examinations are also scheduled to take place on August 31 and September 1. Furthermore, examinations have been scheduled for other positions, such as Senior Investigator.
All Examinations to be Conducted Online
The DSSSB has clarified that all examinations will be conducted in online mode. This means that candidates will be required to take a computer-based test. Consequently, candidates who have not yet practiced taking online tests should begin their preparations well in advance.
