OSSC CHSL Notification 2025-26: The Odisha Staff Selection Commission has announced a total of 124 vacancies for specialist positions under the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Recruitment Examination 2025. These positions are for Amin in the Water Resources Department, Junior Fisheries Technical Assistant in the Fisheries Department, and Junior Forensic Attendant in the State Forensic Science Laboratory. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the Commission's official website, ossc.gov.in, starting March 6, 2026.

Pass 12th Application
For Amin (District Office), State Cadre, candidates must have a +2 (Arts/Science/Commerce) or equivalent qualification with a basic computer skills certificate from a recognized institution.
For Junior Fisheries Technical Assistant (JFTA), State Cadre, candidates must have passed +2 Vocational (Fisheries) from CHSE/University or +2 Science if Commercial Fisheries is not available, and must be able to swim fluently.
For the Junior Forensic Attendant, State Cadre, candidates must possess a +2 degree in Science from a recognized education board or institution.

Language Proficiency
Candidates must be able to read, write, and speak Odia fluently and meet one of the following conditions: The candidate must have passed the Middle School examination with Odia as a subject, or passed the High School Examination (HSC) or equivalent examination with Odia as the medium of instruction in a non-linguistic subject.

Furthermore, they must have passed the seventh grade or above with Odia as a subject from a school/institution recognized by the Odisha Government or the Central Government, or passed the Middle English School-level Odia Language Examination conducted by the School and Mass Education Department of the Odisha Government.

Application Fee
The examination fee for candidates from General/Urban areas is ₹500. However, SC, ST, and PwD candidates are exempted from the fee, meaning they will not have to pay any fee.

The fee deposited will be refunded to the candidates who appear in the first stage of the recruitment examination.
