OPTCL Recruitment 2026: Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Limited (OPTCL) has released a detailed notification for recruitment to various positions. A total of 50 vacancies will be filled under this recruitment drive for Management Trainee, Junior Management Trainee, and Office Assistant Grade-III Trainee positions. Eligibility Requirements for Application
Management Trainee (MT) – Civil: Must possess a degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or institute. A minimum of 60% marks is required for the General category and 50% for SC/ST candidates.
Management Trainee (MT) - Law: A degree in Law from a recognized institute or university is required.
Junior Management Trainee (JMT) - Civil: A diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute is required. 60% marks are required for the General category and 50% for SC/ST candidates.
Office Assistant Grade-III Trainee: Candidates must have a graduation degree in any subject with 60% marks for the General category and 50% for SC/ST candidates with disabilities. They must also be fluent in Odia and have basic computer knowledge.
Age Limit: The minimum age of a candidate must be 21 years, and the maximum age must be 32 years. Age relaxation will be applicable for reserved category candidates as per government regulations.
What is the application fee?
The application fee for OPTCL Recruitment 2026 varies depending on the candidate's category. General (UR) and SEBC candidates will have to pay ₹1,180. SC, ST, and PwBD candidates will have to pay ₹590. However, OPTCL departmental candidates will be exempt from the application fee and will not have to pay any fee.
