Details of the Posts

This Gujarat Police recruitment includes various posts. There are 172 posts for Sub-Inspector (Wireless), and the highest number of posts, 698, are for Technical Operator (Wireless). In addition, 35 posts for Sub-Inspector (Motor Transport) and 45 posts for Head Constable Driver Mechanic Grade-1 will also be filled. In total, 950 posts will be filled.

Eligibility Criteria

For this recruitment, candidates must have a degree or diploma in Electronics, Communication, IT, or Computer Engineering. For the Head Constable Driver Mechanic post, candidates must have passed 12th grade.  Technical experience and a heavy vehicle driving license are also mandatory.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for the Gujarat Police Technical recruitment is 35 years.  According to government rules, candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes will be given age relaxation. Age will be calculated as per the specified date.

Application Fee

General, OBC, and EWS category candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs. 100, which will be submitted online. There is no application fee for SC, ST, women, disabled, and ex-servicemen candidates.

Salary

The salary for this recruitment will range from Rs. 40,800 to Rs. 49,600 per month. In addition, dearness allowance and other government allowances will also be provided. In short, this job can prove to be quite financially rewarding.

Selection Process

The selection process for the Gujarat Police Technical Recruitment will be conducted in several stages. First, there will be a written examination. After that, marks will be added based on sports weightage. The documents of the candidates who qualify in the written examination will be verified.
