OICL Recruitment: Oriental Insurance Company Limited (OICL) has started the application process for recruitment to 500 vacant posts of Assistant (Class-III) today. Under this recruitment, eligible and interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official website orientalinsurance.org.in till August 17, 2025. Admit cards will be uploaded on the website about 7 days before the exam date.
Educational Qualification and Language Conditions
Candidates applying for this recruitment must have a graduation degree in any subject. Apart from this, it is also mandatory to know reading, writing, and speaking the regional language of the state or union territory for which the candidate wants to apply.
To ensure this, a language proficiency test will be conducted before the final selection. If a candidate is unable to show the requisite competency in the regional language, they will be disqualified from the selection process.
Age Limit and Calculation Date
The age of the candidate should be between 21 and 30 years to apply. Age will be calculated as on 31 July 2025. That is, those candidates are eligible who were born not before 31 July 1995 and not after 31 July 2004. Both dates are included, that is, candidates born on 31.07.1995 and 31.07.2004 can also apply.
The selection process will have three stages.
Under the OICL Assistant Recruitment 2025, candidates will be selected through three stages:
Tier-1 (Prelims Exam)
Tier-2 (Mains Exam)
Regional Language Test
The prelims exam will be completely objective type (multiple choice), and the candidates who qualify in it will be invited for the Mains exam (Tier-2). The candidates selected in the Mains exam will finally have to take the regional language test to ensure that the candidate can read, write, and speak the language of that state/region.

Candidates are advised to read the state-wise vacancies, language qualification, and all other conditions thoroughly before applying. Incorrect or incomplete information in the application may lead to rejection of the form. Also, note that candidates who fail in the language test will not be considered eligible for appointment even if they have cleared all other stages.
