NSL Vacancy 2025: NMDC Steel Limited (NSL) has released a notification for Trade Apprentice recruitment for 2026. A total of 100 vacancies are available for the posts of CO/PA, Welder, Fitter, and Electrician. Interested and eligible ITI pass candidates can apply by participating in the walk-in interviews to be held in January 2026. The recruitment will be for the 3.0 MTPA steel plant located in Nagarnar, Chhattisgarh.
A total of 100 Trade Apprentice positions are available at NMDC Steel Limited, including 40 positions for CO/PA, 20 for Welder, 20 for Fitter (Mechanical), and 20 for Electrician.

Eligibility Criteria for Application
Candidates applying for Trade Apprentice positions at NMDC Steel Limited must possess an ITI Trade Certificate from a recognized institution in CO/PA, Welder, Fitter, or Electrician. The CO/PA and Welder courses should be 1 year in duration, and the Fitter/Electrician courses should be 2 years.
Before participating in the walk-in interview, candidates must register on the National Apprenticeship Portal (www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in). Candidates who have already completed similar training are not eligible to apply. Reservation for SC, ST, and OBC candidates will be as per government rules, and valid caste certificates are mandatory.
Where will the walk-in interview be held?
The walk-in drive will be conducted at the HRD Center, Studio Apartments, Chokawada, District Bastar, Chhattisgarh 494001, of NMDC Steel Limited. Candidates are required to bring their resume and self-attested photocopies of all certificates and must report to the venue by 9:00 AM for registration.
If any candidate provides false information or their qualifications are found not to be in accordance with the criteria mentioned in the advertisement, their candidature will be cancelled at any stage of the recruitment process or even after training.
