NSDC Scheme 2024: The National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) announced the successful completion of the Bharatpur Skill Festival. With this, more than 2,400 youth were given appointment letters. These offer letters were provided by the leading companies of the corporate world. Jayant Chaudhary, Minister of State (Independent Charge) of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and Ministry of Education, presided over the event in Bharatpur, Rajasthan, where he handed over job letters to the selected successful candidates.

An official statement said, "The mega recruitment drive saw an overwhelming response from the corporate sector, with more than 70 industry leaders registering their participation. Major employers including e-commerce giants Flipkart and Zepto, global food chain Burger King, premium dining brand Barbeque Nation, and other leading companies, offered more than 20,000 job opportunities at the Bharatpur Skill Festival." Salary of more than 30 thousand rupees

The candidates selected in this mega recruitment drive will be given a salary of 19,000 to 35,000 monthly.

Jobs will be available in these companies.

Companies from sectors like tourism, hospitality, logistics, food-processing, IT-ITES, auto, BFSI, and electronics were involved in the recruitment drive.

Opportunities for youth

The Minister of State emphasized the importance of community participation in effectively implementing skill development schemes in Bharatpur. He highlighted the collaborative efforts of NSDC and MSDE to attract pro-industry policies through state investment summits, opening up opportunities for youth in remote areas.

Emphasis on skill enhancement

Addressing the gathering, he emphasized skill enhancement through platforms like Skill India Digital Hub and JobX. He said, "The companies present here today are offering jobs in nearby areas, thus providing an important opportunity for the youth of Bharatpur." The Minister of State said, "Inspired by the Prime Minister's vision of 'lifelong learning', we are all focused on further improving the education and employment sector."

Skill India Digital Hub

Last month, more than 3,500 youth from Bharatpur registered on the Skill India Digital Hub and participated in the five-day job readiness program. During this program, training was given on soft skills, role-specific capabilities such as assembly line operations and customer care skills.

Walk-in of three thousand youth

The 'Job Readiness Program' concluded with a mega recruitment fair - Kaushal Mahotsav, in which more than 3,000 youth appeared for walk-in interviews. The aim of the 'Job Readiness Program' was to increase employment opportunities for the youth of Bharatpur and establish the district as a skilled workforce development hub.
