NMC Recruitment 2025: Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has started the application process for recruitment in various departments. The application process for these posts is going on. Interested and eligible candidates can apply by visiting the official website of NMC (nmcnagpur.gov.in). The last date to apply is January 15, 2025. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 245 posts, including 150 posts for Civil Engineer Assistants, 52 posts for Nurses, 39 for Junior Engineer, and 4 posts for Tree Officers.

The notification states: "For the recruitment of the above posts, the post-wise examination as mentioned below will be conducted through online mode (Computer Based Test) at the prescribed examination center. If necessary, the said examination will be conducted on more than one day and in more than one session depending on the number of applications received for the examination. Each such session will have different question papers based on the syllabus prescribed for the examination."

Eligibility Criteria: Eligibility Criteria

Junior Engineer (Civil): Candidates for this post must have a minimum graduation in Civil Engineering from a University recognized by AICTE or equivalent qualification.

Junior Engineer (Electrical): Candidates for this must have a minimum degree in Electrical Engineering/Electronics from a University recognized by AICTE or equivalent qualification.

Civil Engineering Assistant: Must have at least a Diploma in Civil Engineering from a University recognized by AICTE.

Nurse (GNM): Must have passed 12th class with General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) certification.

Tree Officer: B.Sc. (Horticulture), Degree in Agriculture/Botany/Forestry from a recognized Agricultural University, or Degree in Botany from a recognized University.

Selection Process: This recruitment process will consist of a computer based examination and interview depending on the post. Exact details about the examination and interview process will be shared on the NMC website closer to the last date of application.

Registration Fee: Application Fee
To apply, general category candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 1,100, while BC/EWS category candidates will have to pay Rs 900.
