NHPC Non-Executive Recruitment: National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC) has invited applications for 248 posts of non-executive. Candidates with a B.Tech/B.E. degree can apply online from 2 September 2025 on the official website of NHPC nhpcindia.com.

The online application process will start on 2 September 2025 at 10:00 am, and candidates can apply till 1 October 2025 at 5:00 pm.

What is the educational qualification for all the posts?

Assistant Rajbhasha Adhikari: Candidate should have a graduation in Hindi from a recognized Indian University with English as an optional subject at the degree level. OR post graduation in English with Hindi as an optional subject.

Junior Engineer: Candidate should have a full-time year Diploma in Civil or Electrical Engineering from a Government or recognized institute with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade.

Supervisor (IT): Candidate should have DOEACC 'A' level course, or a year Polytechnic Diploma in Computer Science/IT, or BCA/BSc (Computer Science/IT) with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade.

Senior Accountant/S1: Candidate should be an Inter CA pass or an Inter CMA pass.

Hindi Translator: Candidate should have a post-graduation in Hindi from a recognized Indian University with English as an optional subject, or post-graduation in English with Hindi as an optional subject

Application Fee
The application fee for General, EWS, and OBC category candidates is Rs 600 + applicable taxes, a total of Rs 708 per application. There is no application fee for SC, ST, Divyang, Ex-Servicemen, and Women candidates.

Medium and Duration of Exam
The exam will be in both languages ​​, English and Hindi. The total duration of the exam is 3 hours, and the total marks will be 200.

What will be the exam pattern?
For JE (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical/E&C /E&C), Supervisor (IT), and Senior Accountant, Part I will have 140 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) from the respective subject. Part II will have 30 MCQs of General Awareness, and Part III will have 30 MCQs related to Reasoning.

For Assistant Rajbhasha Adhikari and Hindi Translator, Part I will have 40 MCQs and 10 descriptive questions from the relevant subject (each descriptive question will carry 10 marks). Part II will have 30 MCQs of General Awareness, and Part III will have 30 MCQs from Reasoning.

1 mark will be awarded for every correct answer. 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. If a question is not answered, no marks will be awarded, and there will be no deduction.
