NFR Apprentice: Recruitment of 10th-ITI pass in Northeast Frontier Railway, apply for 5600+ posts before this day..

NFR Apprentice Recruitment 2024: Northeast Frontier Railway is giving a great opportunity for apprenticeship to eligible candidates. It is accepting online applications for the appointment of apprentices under the Apprentices Act, of 1961. This recruitment drive aims to appoint more than 5,600 apprentice posts. Eligible candidates can submit their application through the official website nfr.indianrailways.gov.in till December 3, 2024.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit: Candidates in the age group of 15 years to 24 years as of December 3 can apply for these posts.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Matriculation (Class 10th) with 50% aggregate marks. Applicants must have an ITI certificate in the relevant trade from a recognized institute.

Candidates applying for Laboratory Technician Pathology and Radiology must have 12th class qualification in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as well as required ITI certification.

Selection Process

The apprentices will be selected based on unit-wise, trade-wise, and community-wise merit posts. The merit list for each unit will be based on the percentage of marks obtained in matriculation and ITI marks in the trade in which the apprenticeship is to be done. The final panel will be based on the average of marks obtained in matriculation and ITI.

The final merit list will be prepared unit-wise, trade-wise, and community-wise equal to the number of slots in descending order of percentage of marks.

Application Fee
The candidates have to pay Rs 100 as an application fee. SC, ST, PwBD, EBC, and female candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
