Tenure: For contractual faculty, the contract will be for a maximum of 3 years or until the age of 65, whichever comes first. The contract will be extended for one year at a time based on performance.

What are the eligibility criteria for the faculty?
Faculty (General Insurance): Retired individuals from the position of Deputy General Manager (GIC and PSU companies) or above, or equivalent positions in General Insurance companies in India, can apply. They must possess a postgraduate degree. The applicant must possess an Associate/Fellowship qualification from the Insurance Institute of India or an equivalent qualification. The applicant should have 15 years of experience at the Manager level in a General Insurance company. The age limit is 55 to 62 years as of December 31, 2025. This position is contractual.

The Assistant Professor positions are permanent. For this position, the candidate must have a Master's degree in the relevant subject with a minimum of 55% marks. They should also have a Ph.D. degree in Business Management or Social Sciences with a good academic record. They must have passed the UGC-conducted NET or SET examination. The candidate should have management-level experience in a General Insurance company or teaching experience. Candidates between the ages of 35 and 55 can apply for the Assistant Professor position. The service period will be until the age of 60 years. The monthly salary for this post will be as per UGC norms.
