Educational Requirements for Assistant Engineer?
Educational Qualification: Applicants must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering from a recognized university, or a degree in Civil Engineering. Apart from academic qualifications, no other form of prior experience is required for this position. This means that even if you are a fresher immediately after completing your engineering degree, you are eligible to apply for this job.

Age Limit: The minimum age limit is 21 years, and the maximum age limit is 40 years. For domiciles of Madhya Pradesh belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), government employees currently serving in various departments/corporations/boards/commissions/autonomous bodies/Home Guards, as well as female candidates and persons with disabilities, the maximum age limit is set at 45 years. The age limit will be calculated based on the candidate's High School (Class 10) marksheet. Selection Process: For the selection process, a Computer-Based Test (CBT) and an interview will be conducted. The weightage assigned to these two components will be 80% and 20%, respectively.

What is the Salary for an Assistant Engineer?
Candidates selected for the post of Assistant Engineer will initially be appointed for a probation period of two years. During this period, candidates will receive a minimum salary in accordance with the rules prescribed by the State Government. Upon successful completion of the probation period, the Assistant Engineer will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹56,100 to ₹177,500 (as per Level 12), along with other applicable allowances.
