NDA officer gets a salary up to 2.5 lakhs, know the full earnings according to the rank

After admission in NDA, the youth are not only given physical and academic training, but they also get a fixed stipend every month. For three years of training, they are given a fixed amount of Rs 56,100 per month, which also makes them financially self-dependent.
Salary increases as soon as they become officers
When candidates get commissioned as officers after completing training, their salary increases significantly. As a lieutenant, they start with Rs 56,100 per month, which gradually increases according to the rank and after a few years this salary reaches lakhs.
Increase in salary according to rank
As the rank of an officer increases in the army, their salary also increases at the same pace. A captain gets a salary of about Rs 61,000 to Rs 1.93 lakh, a major gets Rs 69,000 to Rs 2.07 lakh, while a lieutenant colonel gets a salary of Rs 1.21 lakh to Rs 2.12 lakh.
In this order, the salary of Colonel, Brigadier and Major General ranges from Rs 1.30 lakh to Rs 2.18 lakh. The highest posts, such as Lieutenant General and Army Chief (COAS), get fixed salary. Lieutenant General is given a monthly salary of about Rs 2.24 lakh and the Army Chief is given Rs 2.50 lakh.
Allowances and facilities also provide relief
Apart from basic salary, officers who pass out from NDA also get many types of allowances. These include DA (dearness allowance), HRA (house rent allowance), transport allowance, and military service pay. Apart from this, they are also given facilities like government accommodation, free medical facility, ration, help in children's education, and pension after retirement.
