Narcotics Control Bureau Recruitment 2025: This is a great opportunity for the youth looking for a government job. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has invited applications for recruitment to the posts of Inspector and Sub Inspector. The official recruitment notification in this regard was issued in May 2025 and the application process also started from the same time.

This recruitment has been taken out under an open vacancy circular, that is, applications will continue to be accepted till all the posts are filled. Who can apply?
Candidates applying for these posts must have a graduation (Bachelor's degree) from a recognized university. The special qualification for the post of Inspector is that the candidate should have at least three years of experience in enforcing regulatory laws and gathering intelligence related to them.
Along with this, the candidate should either be regularly employed in the same post in his original cadre or department or have at least five years of regular service experience in Pay Matrix Level-06.
Age Limit
The maximum age of the candidates applying for this recruitment should not be more than 56 years till the last date of application.
Salary
The candidates selected for the post of Inspector will be provided a monthly salary as per Pay Matrix Level-07. The pay scale for the post of Sub Inspector is fixed as per Level-06.
Type of Recruitment
This recruitment is being done based on deputation. That is, only those candidates will be selected who are already working in government service and fulfill the eligibility criteria.
