NABARD Development Assistant Recruitment 2026: Good news has come from NABARD for young people preparing for government jobs in the banking sector. Yes, the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has released the recruitment notification for Development Assistant and Development Assistant (Hindi) posts. A total of 162 posts will be filled under this recruitment. The application process has started online, and interested candidates can apply by visiting the official NABARD website, nabard.org.

The official notification mentions that this recruitment is being done under the Group B cadre. Out of the total posts, 159 posts are for Development Assistant, while 3 posts are reserved for Development Assistant (Hindi). Educational Qualification and Age Limit
For the Development Assistant post, candidates must have a degree in B.A. or B.Com. A minimum of 50 percent marks is required for general category candidates, while for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Persons with Disabilities, and Ex-servicemen candidates, only a graduate degree is sufficient. For the Development Assistant (Hindi) post, a graduate degree with studies in Hindi or English medium is required. The candidate should also have good translation skills from Hindi to English and English to Hindi.

The candidate's age should be between 21 and 35 years. Reserved categories will be given relaxation in the upper age limit as per government rules. These eligibility and age-related conditions are based on previous recruitments and will be clarified in the new detailed notification.
