There is big news for young people preparing for government jobs in Madhya Pradesh. The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has released the official notification for the State Service Examination, i.e., PCS 2026.  Through this recruitment, a total of 155 posts will be filled in administrative, police, and other important departments. A significant change this time is the introduction of negative marking in the preliminary examination for the first time. Interested candidates can apply online through the commission's official website within the specified dates.

MPPSC PCS 2026: Opportunity for Recruitment to 155 Posts
The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission has released the notification for the PCS examination 2026. Under this recruitment, appointments will be made to several important posts, including Deputy Collector, DSP, Naib Tehsildar, Development Block Officer, etc. Out of the total 155 posts, the highest number, 39, is for the Development Block Women Empowerment Officer. Besides this, there are 18 posts for DSP, 17 for Additional Collector, 16 for Cooperative Extension Officer, and 15 for Additional Assistant Development Commissioner. The application process will begin on January 10, 2026, and candidates can apply online until February 9, 2026. A correction window will be open from January 15 to February 11, 2026, to correct any errors in the application.

Eligibility
For this recruitment, it is mandatory for the candidate to have a graduate degree from a recognized university or institution. The minimum age for non-uniformed posts is 21 years, and the maximum age is 40 years. For uniformed posts, such as DSP, the maximum age limit is 33 years.

Selection Process
The selection process will be conducted in three stages: Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and Interview. The preliminary examination will be held on April 26, 2026, and the admit cards will be available from April 16, 2026.

Application Fee
Regarding the application fee, the fee for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and PwD candidates of Madhya Pradesh is Rs. 250, while all other categories and candidates from outside the state will have to pay a fee of Rs. 500. Those who did not apply on time have been allowed to apply with a late fee.
