Assistant Professor Eligibility: Eligibility Criteria
– To apply, candidates must have a Master's degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university with at least 55 percent marks or an equivalent grade.
– Applicants must also have qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC, CSIR, or ICAR, or a state-level SET or SLET examination.
– As per UGC regulations, candidates holding a PhD degree are exempted from the requirement of qualifying for NET, SET, or SLET. All degrees must be from recognized institutions in India or abroad.
– The minimum age for application is 21 years, while the maximum age limit is 40 years. According to the rules of the Madhya Pradesh government, candidates belonging to reserved categories will be given age relaxation.
