MPESB Teacher Recruitment 2025: Madhya Pradesh Staff Selection Board (MPESB) has released the schedule for the Primary Teacher Selection Test 2025. This recruitment is being done under the School Education and Tribal Affairs Department. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online from 18 July to 6 August 2025 by visiting esb.mp.gov.in.
Through this recruitment drive, eligible candidates will be appointed to a total of 13,089 posts. In this, 10,150 posts will be recruited under the School Education Department and 2,939 posts under the Tribal Affairs Department. This exam is being conducted for the appointment of primary teachers in both departments.
Eligibility Criteria
Only those candidates will be eligible to apply in this recruitment process who have passed the Primary Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) 2020 or 2024 with the minimum marks prescribed by the Madhya Pradesh Staff Selection Board (ESB). Apart from this, it is mandatory for the candidates to have D.El.Ed diploma.
Apart from this, the minimum age of the candidate should be 21 years. At the same time, the maximum age will be calculated on 1 January 2025. Candidates have to ensure that they meet the age criteria prescribed by this date. Age relaxation can be given to reserved categories as per the rules.
B.Ed holders are not eligible to apply
Candidates should note that B.Ed degree holders are not considered eligible in this recruitment process. Only D.El.Ed holders can apply. Also, candidates do not need to fill out separate forms for different posts; through a single application form, they can apply for all the eligible posts.
Exam date and time
The selection test of the MP Teacher Recruitment Exam 2025 can be conducted in two shifts from 31st August. The first shift will be from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, and the second shift will be from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Candidates are advised to reach the examination center at least one hour in advance so that entry and other formalities can be completed on time.
Application fee
The application fee for this recruitment has been fixed according to the category. Candidates of the unreserved category (General Category) will have to pay a fee of Rs 500. At the same time, the application fee for Other Backward Classes (OBC), Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Divyang category candidates of Madhya Pradesh state has been fixed at Rs 250.
How much salary will be given?
Under this recruitment process, the selected teachers will be given a minimum monthly salary of Rs 25,300 initially. Apart from this, candidates will also be given dearness allowance (DA), which will further increase the total salary. This salary will be given as per the prescribed pay scale of the state government.
