There's good news for young people preparing for government jobs. The Madhya Pradesh Staff Selection Board (MPESB) has announced recruitment notifications to fill the vacant positions of Forest Guard and Jail Guard in the state. The online application process for this vacancy has begun. Eligible candidates can complete the application process online by visiting the MPESB official website, esb.mp.gov.in. The last date for submitting the application form is March 14, 2026.

Eligibility and Criteria
To apply for the Forest Guard, Field Guard, and Jail Guard positions, one must have passed 10th grade from a recognized board.
To apply for the Jail Superintendent position, one must be a graduate of a recognized university.

The minimum age of the candidate should not exceed 18/21 years, and the maximum age should not exceed 33 years, depending on the post. However, reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per the rules.

Application requirements:
In addition to educational qualifications and age, a minimum height is also required. Candidates can consult the notification for physical standards and other details.

Application Process
The application form for this recruitment can be filled out online only by visiting the official website esb.mp.gov.in or through the direct link provided on this page. General category candidates and candidates from outside MP will have to pay a fee of ₹560, while SC, ST, and OBC candidates will have to pay ₹310. A portal fee of ₹60 will be paid separately.

Recruitment Details
A total of 1679 posts will be filled through this recruitment. Out of this, 728 posts are reserved for forest guard, 169 posts for field guard, 757 posts for jail guard, and 25 posts for jail superintendent.
