MP Police SI Vacancy 2025: The Madhya Pradesh Staff Selection Board (ESB) has announced a recruitment drive for a large number of posts in the MP Police. Interested and eligible candidates can apply by visiting the official website, esb.mp.gov.in. A total of 500 Sub-Inspectors and Subedar posts will be filled under this recruitment drive, including 472 Sub-Inspectors and 28 Sub-Inspector posts.

Applications for this recruitment drive will begin on October 27, 2025, and candidates can apply online until November 10, 2025. The deadline for making necessary corrections is November 15, 2025. The selection process will begin with a written examination, which will be held on January 9, 2026.

Applicants with a Bachelor's Degree:
A bachelor's degree from a recognized university is mandatory for this recruitment drive. This qualification ensures that all applicants are physically and mentally prepared to fulfill the responsibilities of police service.

What is the required age?
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and a maximum of 33 years of age, with age relaxations for reserved categories as per state government rules. Male candidates must have a minimum height of 167.5 cm, and female candidates must have a chest measurement of 81 cm without expansion and 86 cm with expansion.

How will the selection be conducted?
Candidates for the MP Police SI and Subedar recruitment will be selected based on a preliminary examination (Prelims), main examination (Mains), and physical efficiency test (PET). The preliminary examination is compulsory for all candidates. Only those who qualify for the prelims will be eligible to appear for the main written examination and physical efficiency test. Successful candidates will be interviewed in the final stage.

Exam Pattern
The prelims exam will be based on multiple-choice (MCQ) questions, carrying 100 marks and lasting 2 hours. There will be no negative marking in the prelims exam. Only those who score a minimum of 30% in the PET will be eligible for the interview. Negative marking of one-third marks will be applicable in the Mains exam.

Application Fee
The application fee for candidates in the unreserved category is ₹500, while OBC, SC, ST, and EWS categories, only residents of Madhya Pradesh, will have to pay ₹250.
