MMRDA Recruitment 2026: The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has announced recruitment for Group A, B, and C posts for the year 2026. Under this advertisement (Advertisement No. MMRDA/01/2026), regular appointments will be made for a total of 235 Group A, B, and C posts.

Educational Qualification
Different qualifications are prescribed for each position. The key qualifications are as follows:

Assistant Engineer Grade-1 (Railway/Signal) Degree in relevant engineering + required experience

Assistant Land and Estate Manager LLB degree + experience in land/estate management
AE Grade-2/Junior Engineer Degree or Diploma in relevant engineering
Assistant Social Development Officer MSW (Master of Social Work) + 3 years of experience
Assistant Law Officer LLB + minimum 3 years of experience as an advocate
Garden Assistant Degree in Botany/Agriculture/Horticulture/Forestry + 5 years of experience
Deputy Accountant B.Com (General 60%, Reserved 55%) + MS-CIT + 3 years of experience
Stenographer 10th pass + 80 wpm shorthand + 40 wpm Marathi typing
Surveyor 10th pass + Survey Certificate/MS-CIT + 2 years experience
Computer Technician 10th pass + 2-year hardware/networking course + 7 years experience
Age Limit (as of February 18, 2026)
Minimum age: 18 years
Maximum age (General category): 38 years
Maximum age (Reserved category): 43 years
Persons with Disabilities (PwBD) candidates: Up to 45 years
Reserved categories will receive a 5-year relaxation, and Persons with Disabilities (PwBD) will receive a 7-year relaxation. Ex-servicemen will be given relaxation as per the state government rules.
Selection Process
Selection will be conducted in three stages:
1. Online Computer-Based Examination (CBE)
The examination will include the following subjects:
Marathi - 20 questions
English - 20 questions
General Knowledge - 10 to 20 questions
Mental Ability/Aptitude - 10 to 15 questions
Technical Subjects - 10 to 40 questions
The total number of questions will be between 40 and 100. The exam duration will be 60 to 120 minutes. Each question will carry equal marks and there will be no negative marking.
2. Skill Test (for some positions)
Stenographer: Shorthand and Typing Test
Surveyor: Practical Test
3. Document Verification
Selected candidates will be required to submit original certificates and their copies.
