Major Update on UP Police SI Recruitment: DV-PST Admit Cards Released

There is good news for candidates aspiring to join the UP Police. Candidates who applied for the SI recruitment are now required to participate in the Document Verification (DV) and Physical Standard Test (PST).

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has issued an important notification regarding the next stage of the recruitment process for the direct recruitment of Sub-Inspectors (SI) in Civil Police and equivalent posts (Recruitment-2025). The Board has released the admit cards for Document Verification and the Physical Standard Test. Candidates can download their admit cards starting June 5, 2026.

According to the notice issued by the recruitment board, the process of Document Verification and Physical Standard Test for a total of 4,543 posts will commence on June 15, 2026. This process will be conducted at designated centers across all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh.

DV and PST Process to Begin on June 15

According to the recruitment board, the Document Verification and Physical Standard Test process will start on June 15. Candidates must appear at the designated center, date, and time specified on their admit cards. It is mandatory for all candidates to reach the center on time; those arriving late may be denied entry.

Which Documents Must Be Carried?

Candidates must present all their original certificates during the document verification process. Additionally, photocopies of each document must be submitted. Candidates are required to carry certificates related to educational qualifications, High School and Intermediate mark sheets, identity proof, domicile certificates, caste certificates (if applicable), Economically Weaker Section (EWS) certificates, reservation-related documents, and other necessary certificates.

Preparation for the Next Stage of Recruitment

A total of 4,543 vacant posts for Sub-Inspector (SI) in Civil Police and equivalent positions are to be filled under the Direct Recruitment-2025 drive. Candidates who qualified in the written examination will now participate in the next crucial stage of the recruitment process: Document Verification and the Physical Standard Test. Candidates who successfully clear these two stages will be considered eligible for the subsequent phases of the recruitment process.

The board has announced that the admit cards for candidates participating in this stage of the recruitment process have been uploaded to the official website. Candidates can download their admit cards by logging in using their registration number and date of birth. Candidates are advised to download their admit cards at the earliest and verify all details mentioned therein, including their name, roll number, exam center, date, and time.
