Government Job 2026: There is excellent news for young aspirants seeking government jobs with the Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB). The Board has made a significant change to the minimum age limit for the recruitment of Special Educators (Primary). Now, younger candidates will also be eligible to apply for this post.

**Major Change in Age Limit**
According to the official public notice issued by the DSSSB, the minimum age limit for the Special Educator (Primary) post (Post Code: 44/26)—advertised under Advertisement No. 03/2026—was previously set at 21 years. This has now been reduced to 18 years. This means that candidates who have attained the age of 18 can now apply for this job.

**Why Was This Decision Taken?**
The Board has clarified that this change was made following a request received via a letter (dated June 25, 2026) from the Directorate of Education (DOE), Government of Delhi. Acceding to the DOE's request, the DSSSB has updated the minimum age limit in the OARS module.

**Other Rules Remain Unchanged**
As per the information provided by the Deputy Secretary (P&P) in the notice, the rules, conditions, and all other details regarding this recruitment remain unchanged; no further modifications have been made. This decision brings significant relief to young aspirants who were previously unable to apply due to age restrictions.
Interested and eligible candidates can visit the official DSSSB website at www.dsssb.delhi.gov.in to view the full notice and obtain further details regarding the recruitment and application process.
